Appointments

We strive to accommodate our clients to the best of our ability. All of our appointment confirmations are sent via text and/or e-mail. Please honor your appointment; if you must cancel or reschedule, we ask that you do so at least 24 hours in advance to void a cancellation fee. We recommend that all clients book their appointments in advance to ensure the best possible availability.

A credit card is required to hold appointments at Sterling Lash & Beauty Bar. If you choose not to provide your credit card information, we will not hold your appointment.

Appointment Tardiness, No Shows, and Cancellations

Tardiness is a major disruption to our day to day operations. Appointments not kept cost Sterling time and money. When you book your appointment, your stylist is there, ready to serve you and only you. If you arrive 10-15 minutes, or more, late to your scheduled appointment time, you risk the chance of your appointment being cancelled and a missed appointment fee of 100% of the service being charged to your account.

No shows and cancellations made within 24 hours will be billed 100% of the service value and will require a prepayment for the next service. If you must reschedule your appointment, please do so as soon as possible.

New Clients

We require all new clients to sign our initial waivers for all services. Please arrive 5-10 minutes early to allow time to review/sign without taking away you’re your scheduled appointment time. Any/all clients under the age of 18 are required to have a parent/guardian with them to sign our initial waivers. The parent/guardian is not required to stay for the full service though they are welcome. All new clients are required a 50%, non-refundable booking fee that will be applied to the service when you arrive for your appointment.

Your privacy is very important to us. We collect your personal information such as your name, email and telephone number in order to create an easy client booking database and to keep you informed on your appointments, receipts, and all the fun things Sterling is up to. We will never disclose your personal information to any third party.

Kids Policy

We understand that with our client’s busy schedules, a sitter isn’t always easily accessible, so we strive to keep Sterling an environment welcome for you to bring your well behaved children to. Your children are welcome to accompany you for any/all appointment excluding microblading; Illinois State Law requires that no persons under the age of 18 be present for any tattooing procedure, including microblading. Please keep in mind that while your children are very welcome at Sterling, we do not have nannies on staff and do not assume the sole responsibility/liability for your children.

Cell Phones

We ask that your cell phones be put on silent mode and be put away during your service in an attempt to minimize distraction and potential hazards. This is especially crucial for lash and brow services.

Lash Fills - Less Than 50% Lash Extensions

Lash fill clients who arrive with less than 50% of their lash extensions will be charged an additional fee. Please keep in mind that when you arrive with less than 50% of your lash extensions, our stylists have to use more product, work faster within your allotted appointment time and go through additional stress to ensure your lashes are of our quality standards that you and we all expect.
